ABOUT MARKETING INTERNSHIPS ABROAD
The field of marketing is tremendously diverse, giving interns the option to work in different countries and companies depending on their interests and goals. International marketing interns may work advertising agencies or the marketing departments of various companies, including hotels, schools, and wineries. Some interns work with their host companies’ websites and run promotions through social media; others liaise with clients, translate promotional materials, or manage internal company communications. In all of these settings, interns work with the planning, development, and implementation of marketing strategies. Some administrative support and research work may also be part of marketing interns’ responsibilities.
