Overview of Study Abroad Programs in Malawi

There is so much to learn about the world, and studying abroad in Malawi will teach you the art of active listening as you absorb the sights and sounds of a new country, culture and way of life. Tucked in between Zambia, Tanzania and Mozambique, this small, densely populated country is known as ‘the warm heart of Africa’, not only because of its sunny climate but because of its warm-hearted citizens.

Malawi’s topography of highlands, the Great Rift Valley and the large freshwater Lake Malawi invite exploration,in your time off, and discovery of its diverse wildlife and clear waters, with game drives and snorkeling.

With nearly 90% of the population living off subsistence farming, Malawi is not a rich country. Study abroad here and learn to understand the challenges of life in one of the least developed countries in the world.
