But, it is also a culturally-diverse country with relics and remnants of Roman, Moorish, and Celtic cultures, and its world-renowned cities like Sevilla, Barcelona and Madrid reflect these influences. Spaniards have a flair for living in the moment and relish late-night parties, or fiestas. It is no wonder that the Spaniards balance the vigor with which they experience life with a little rest. The siesta is a natural part of the Spanish day, and provides a chance to escape the heat of the afternoon and prepare for an evening of good food and time with friends.
