The World Endeavors Study in the Philippines program takes place at the University of the Philippines – Diliman in Quezon City. Quezon City is the biggest city in the Philippines, a center of student life, and a former national capital. It’s a short trip to the modern-day capital of Manila, a unique city made up of many distinct neighborhoods. Manila is home to the ruins of the colonial Spanish capital known as Intramuros as well as historic parks, splendid museums, and stunningly beautiful churches and mosques. A quirky assortment of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and the vast Mall of Asia mean there is no end to entertainment in Manila. Students can explore these places while living on the UP – Diliman campus set apart from the main city in a green and student-friendly neighborhood.
