We are excited to announce a new collaboration between World Endeavors Internships and University of California Berkeley’s Summer Session. World Endeavors interns can earn credit by enrolling in an online course offered by Berkeley Summer Session that is meant to complement their professional summer internship.

Student interns will have a choice of two relevant course topics:

  • Experiential Learning – A course which facilitates learning about organizations, structures and new cultures and the practical strategies required to a successful internship.
  • Global Citizenship – Students will use experiences at their internships to reflect on global citizenship and to examine different cultures and values.

Each course will utilize online lectures and group discussions, projects, writings, and practical observations from internship experiences to explore each topic. Each course is worth 3 academic credits and the term is June 4 – August 10, 2018. Interns will need to connect with their academic advisors to see how the credits could be counted toward major/minor coursework.

We hope you take advantage of this great opportunity to get the most out of your internship abroad!
