Travel Correspondent: Abigail, Italy, Week 4
During Abigail’s fourth week in Italy she started her internship and took a quick weekend trip to London. Here are some of the highlights from the past week!
This week I toured Myer Hospital, where I will be doing part of my internship. The hospital is known to be the best children’s hospital in Italy and a top one for Europe. It’s on a beautiful campus just outside the center of Florence.
Over the weekend a few of my roommate and I took a trip to London and flew out of Pisa, just a short train ride away from Florence where we got to see the leaning tower of Pisa before heading on our way.
