University Partners

World Endeavors works with our university partners in the United States and abroad to ensure that students have an international experience that is rewarding both personally and academically.

Academic Credit

All participants in World Endeavors study abroad programs receive academic credit for their studies, often from our accredited partner universities abroad.  US academic credit is also available for many of our programs from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.

Additionally, some of our participants have successfully petitioned to receive credit for internship and volunteer placements.  This is often granted as independent study credit, and sometimes requires that the participant write a final paper discussing what they learned in their placement.

Below is a list of some of the schools that have given interns and/or volunteers credit in the past:

Dickinson College
Macalester College
University of Central Arkansas
University of Northern Colorado

* For our Ecuador internship program, we are able to offer academic credit from an accredited Ecuadorian university for an additional fee, with a two credit minimum.  The number of credits given will correspond to the number of months the placement lasts; a two month internship will be worth two credits, a three month internship will be worth three, and so on.

University Groups

In addition to organizing programs for individuals and small groups, World Endeavors can also arrange university group programs.  Groups are often led by faculty from the university, who leave the logistical arrangements to World Endeavors and focus on leading their group on a challenging and rewarding international experience.  To learn more or to arrange a group trip for your university, please contact us at 1-866-802-9678 or by email at info@worldendeavors.com.
