Spanish language training To prepare participants for the Spanish-language internships, the internship in Mexico program also offers the benefit of 4 weeks of intensive Spanish language training. Interns will attend a fully-accredited Mexican university for 20 hours per week, for the first 4 weeks of their program. The internship portion then begins at the beginning of the 5th week. Interns who successfully complete the language portion of the internship will receive an official academic transcript for their studies. Language training is not included in the 1 month internship option; therefore, interns who plan to intern for only 1 month should have very advanced Spanish language skills.

*1 month = 4 weeks Participants can choose when they would like to start and the duration of their program. Programs generally start on Fridays; participants can begin their program on just about any Friday of the year. Start dates are flexible, but are based on the needs of the host company as well as the intern. The most common internship durations are shown below. Check with a World Endeavors program advisor for alternate internship lengths. Participants in a one month internship program should have an advanced level of Spanish. We encourage interns to apply as far in advance as possible. Generally it is beset to submit your application at least 12 weeks prior to your intended start date, but exceptions can be made if the intern is willing to work with World Endeavors to expedite the enrollment process.
